1/12. Welcome Event. 1/13. If you haven't already heard the news, League of Legends (League) and Teamfight Tactics (TFT) will now be published by Riot Games in Southeast Asia! As part of the transition, we're launching new Riot Games League and TFT servers for you all to join once Garena's servers cease operations on January 6th, 2023 (UTC+8). If it doesn't work, close the league installer. Go to finder, and search "Riot Client" and drag it into "Applications". Making sure that League/League installer is closed, click on Riot Client to open it. The new Riot Client should then open, and then from then on, press League of Legends, and install. Hopefully this works for you! Let me know:) Run the game as an Administrator. Right click on the shortcut for League of Legends. Select Properties. Check the box labelled "Run as Administrator" under the Compatibility tab. Please Note: If you are using Windows XP, you will need to login as an Administrator. Check your Hard Drive for errors. So run it as an administrator to see if this fixes the slow download issue. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key together on your keyboard to open the Task Manager. Find League of Legends program. Right-click on it and click Open file location. In the file, find the LOL Launcher.exe. Right-click on it and click Run as administrator. Fix #8: Reinstall League of Legends. If the above fixes don’t work, your next option is to uninstall the game and then reinstall a clean copy of it after. To uninstall League of Legends, follow the steps below: Close the League of Legends program. Click Start > Settings. Go to Apps > Apps & features. Look for the League of Legends (32-bit) process. Right-click the process and select End Task. Exit Task Manager. Run the game again and see if the disconnects happen again. Once the installer opens, you'll have to click Next on a few different pages and then wait for League of Legends to install. Once it finishes installing, you're free to begin playing it by clicking or double-clicking the League of Legends app icon. Choose System and Security. Click Windows Firewall. Select Allow an app or feature trough Windows Firewall. In the given list you should find 2 League of Legends executables.
